COMMUNITY SITE PLANThe beauty of old-Florida’s nature and architectural charm.

Live Oak trees. Shady front porches. These are essential elements to an authentic Florida lifestyle. Oakland Park was designed to encourage residents to interact with nature and neighbors. In fact, the community provides abundant open space, including trails, parks, recreational areas, a community garden, Lake Brim and expansive Lake Apopka. Approximately 258 acres, Oakland Park follows the natural grade of the land, which slopes up from the shoreline of Lake Apopka and provides lake views for many homes.

This site plan is not intended as a legal description of the property or to constitute an undertaking by any party to develop the subject property exactly as shown hereon.  Rather, it is for general reference only and the actual details shown hereon may vary depending on actual field conditions and other factors.  Adjacent lands are not included in these plans and may be developed in the future.

PRESERVING FLORIDA'S LANDSCAPERegional pioneers in green residential communities.

Oakland Park embraces the preservation of the environment, which greatly enhances the comfort, health, and well-being of its residents. We have worked extensively to preserve many of the area's mature trees, and restore the shorelines of Lake Apopka and Lake Brim. The steps we’ve taken to protect the environment continuously aid in the healthy recovery of the lakes. As a result of our efforts, the residents of Oakland Park have access to an expansive community outdoor space in which to enjoy nature, walking, jogging and magnificent sunsets.

ACCOLADESDesignated Green Development Certification by the FGBC.

Oakland Park is a designated Green Development certification by the FGBC. The roads, the building areas, even the utility placements, were designed in such a way as to preserve as many significant trees as possible. In addition to tree preservation, an arborist was commissioned to oversee the relocation of a large number of mature trees, creating instant foundations to the many public park areas within Oakland Park. And we use native drought tolerant plants throughout Oakland Park’s landscape to minimize water, pesticide and fertilizer usage. Add in the fact that all homes within the community are built to FGBC green certification standards, and you and your family will benefit from healthier air and water quality – and significant energy savings.

In addition the FGBC certification, Oakland Park has also received the following recognition:
